Introduction to Motion Capture – free training opportunity!
Have you often wondered how Motion Capture works and whether it could be useful for your creative practice?
The MyWorld team at Bath Spa University in collaboration with The Studio in Bath are offering 4 fully subsidised places on this 3-day introductory course.
On the first day you will create an avatar and plan a short sequence. On day two you will be shown how to record your sequence using inertial motion capture suits and face tracking. On the final day, you will link the motion capture data to your avatar to create your sequence. This is very much a taster/introductory course with the aim of explaining the different types of motion capture, what they are best used for and where you can access them in the future.
