Prototyping & Design Cluster Lunch
Cluster lunches are back! Held on the last Tuesday of every month this is an informal opportunity to meet other residents and hear from local speakers working in your area. Join us to share ideas, chat about upcoming projects, and enjoy delicious food!
Our Prototyping & Design cluster is for residents, researchers and others who are working on prototyping, materials and design projects and practices; whether you’re working in creative coding, product design, textiles and fashion, physical prototyping, software development or applied research – this is a chance for us to get together and share what we’re working on and thinking about.
For this weeks lunch, the first cohort of our Intro to MOCAP course will share their learning after three weeks of trying out various modes of capturing and using tracked human movements. We have artists coming from dance, immersive sound, music, puppetry and disability access perspectives to learn how Motion capture can feed into their work.
We’d like to start every lunch with a brief provocation or presentation from an attendee – so if you have something you’d particularly like to talk about, share for feedback or ask for help with – please email Nik Rawlings ahead of the event – n.rawlings@bathspa.ac.uk.
