In 2019, Holly graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Architecture. After graduating, she spent 12 months working with RCKa, an architecture practice based in London, taking on various projects but specialising in illustration and community engagement. Alongside this, she also completed a year-long artist’s residency at The Story Garden in Kings Cross, running creative workshops with children from local schools and residents of all ages.
Now based in Bath, Holly works as a freelance artist/designer, and tutor on the BA Architecture course at Central Saint Martins. She has worked with organisations such as JTP, RCKa, the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen, the Bath Preservation Trust and various graphic design companies based in the south-west of England. She also recently collaborated with the Forest of Imagination, a Bath-based arts organisation, on a number of projects.
Holly is passionate about art, accessible creativity, narrative and community. Any work she does is orientated around space – but not exclusively or traditionally architectural. She feels deeply the importance of using varied mediums to connect with place, process and community – being outside in nature, woodwork, painting, print-making, writing, film-making, conversation, and sound.
