Jenny is a systems thinker, designing, facilitating and convening to help develop and deepen connections across the built environment. She is founder/director of Materials in Mind, RSA fellow and member of Bristol’s SDGs Alliance and Waste and Resources Action Group (BGCP). She is a long standing member of KWMC’s The Factory and maintains a creative practice exploring the realm between traditional and digital fabrication.

Learning by doing, Jenny has worked with numerous construction projects spanning traditional, timber frame, off-site/pre-fabricated, circular and natural build approaches. An advocate for circular economy practice, Jenny employs a range of tech approaches and adapted frameworks to enable clients to practically apply and develop knowledge and processes. She is an experienced project manager with a keen interest in how building strong connections across procurement and supply chain systems, resource/waste and public/private sectors can stimulate low-carbon market opportunities and address the ignorance, misconceptions, persistent lack of commitment and risk aversity that is rife in the industry.

Project X is an in-development low carbon construction village concept – an IRL site is the ultimate goal – featuring showcase buildings and event-plots, a construction reuse facility, visitor centre/industry hub and a remanu-factory. The Digital Twin/immersive Project X-world experience will launch in 2023.

Project X – the use of natural resources must become x times more intelligent and efficient. X times more use could be made and therefore x times more wealth be generated from a ton of raw material – (Factor X/10).
