Charlie Williams has an emerging creative practice called Larkhall, which combines music and live algorithmic visuals; he also works professionally as a software developer and CTO of a small tech startup.
Charlie’s performance uses a MIDI-equipped piano to generate a data stream which feeds into algorithms he’s coded. These algorithms — one for each composition — then create live reactive video as he plays, merging the two modalities into a single experience.
