Many of you will know Rachel Pownall who worked as the KE Manager on SWCTN and is now the Innovation Manager for MyWorld. Rachel is also a writer for theatre, film, and podcasts who lives in North Somerset and works in Bath. Her stage play, ‘Tipping Point’, about loss and resilience, set in a fictional dystopian future resulting from the climate emergency is currently part of The Elevate Festival at The Theatre Royal, Bath. Last year her play, ‘Ghost Orchid’, which explores the way trauma echoes across the generations of a farming family in rural Gloucestershire, was staged at The Mission Theatre, Bath as part of SPARKfest. She currently has a fellowship from Bath Spa University, funded by Bristol + Bath Creative R+D, to explore ways of using immersive and emerging technologies to tell stories within family diaries and letters dating back to the early-mid C19th and recently ran some workshops for underprivileged teenage girls to inspire them to tell stories using creative technology.
