KE Dialogues on-line networking event

Are you interested in collaborating with a Bath Spa University researcher as part of your creative practice? This could be to help solve a particular challenge that you’re having or to help explore something completely new.

What is it?
Bath Spa University has been awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Impact Accelerator Account (IAA) to allow us to support staff with new research impact and grow our institutional impact culture.

As part of this three year project we have a Knowledge Exchange Dialogues fund that’s aimed at supporting the development of new collaborations between researchers and external stakeholders (public, private, civil society), to engage in meaningful and productive two-way discussions in ways that spark new thinking.

For instance, you might be interested in working with a researcher from a particular creative discipline to explore a particular part of your own creative practice (to experiment with new approaches or perhaps new technologies). You might want to collaborate with a social scientist to better understand the experience of your audiences/participants or figure out a better way of capturing and documenting the impact of your work. Or you might have ideas for how insights from your creative practice could be applied in new contexts, processes or organisations.

The first call deadline is 19 August and we are hosting an on-line event with The Studio in Bath to share more information about the KE Dialogues call and for researchers and creative practitioners to meet.

Register your interest
To register your interest please complete this short google form.

Please do complete the form even if you can’t make the event on the 1st as we will be collecting everyone’s interests on a digital whiteboard. The whiteboard will be shared with everyone who registers their interest so that they can identify potential collaborators and approach them directly.

If you have any questions before the event please email: Astrid Breel, Research Impact Fellow: a.breel@bathspa.ac.uk

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support your participation on 1 August.
