Electric Landscape is a collaborative project between artist Angel Greenham and musician and artist James Thornton. Their creative partnership was forged during their MA studies at Bath School of Art, Film & Media, where Angel invited James to compose music for a performance piece featured in her final exhibition. This initial collaboration sparked an ongoing dialogue between sound and visual art, leading to a series of interdisciplinary projects, including a residency at Trowbridge Town Hall, an outdoor sound sculpture at Sion Hill campus, and a film commission for Molton Brown’s Artist of Note project.
Rooted in a shared exploration of the relationship between sound, space, and experience, Electric Landscape seeks to create immersive installations in which sound activates and transforms environments. Their work engages with the sensory and atmospheric qualities of space, inviting audiences into dynamic, multi-sensory encounters that blur the boundaries between the auditory and the visual.
