Annette Sloly and David Sloly are the founders of Lux Nova, a collaborative practice exploring the hidden musicality within systems, objects and phenomena. Their work transforms data from sources such as solar storms, deep space and other unseen environments into immersive soundscape experiences that make the invisible audible.
Combining artistic intuition with technical experimentation, they are interested in how sound can reveal structure, movement, and relationships in ways that feel immediate, emotional, and human. Their process blends data translation, composition, listening and storytelling, creating work that sits between art, science and technology.
David brings a background in innovation, creative technology, media production and communication. Annette brings a lifelong musical sensibility, deep listening, and experience in how people respond emotionally and psychologically to sound. Together, they work collaboratively to shape pieces that are musically engaging.
Through Lux Nova, they aim to create experiences that reconnect audiences with systems normally beyond everyday perception, inviting wonder, reflection and a renewed sense of connection.
