Celestial – Britain’s Got Talent 2026 Runners-Up
Celestial is a tech company focusing on the development of control systems to facilitate complex drone swarm displays. They specialise in live motion capture of human movement to control the drones and are looking to develop technology that can drive organic, daytime drone displays that mimic swarming behaviours in nature, such as the murmurations of starlings. Their night ‘Skytheatre’ displays are a dynamic, safe and green alternative to carbon intensive fireworks.
In April 2026, Celestial created a globally acclaimed Belfast Harbour drone spectacle for the BBC’s Made Of Here campaign, using 950 drones to recreate a full-scale illusion of the Titanic rising from the water where it was built.
In May 2026, Celestial won the Group Golden Buzzer for their stunning drone show in the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent. They were Runners-Up to Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir in series 19 of the contest.
