My practice sits between image-making and immersive experience. For more than 30 years, photography has been my way of observing the world. Working in commercial and advertising photography taught me how to build narratives with precision, while remaining alert to the emotional weight an image can carry, and of course a deadline

Those same skills now extend beyond the lens into work with light, sound and emerging technologies. In this newer practice, I am exploring the modern environment and the ways it shapes our attention, emotions and sensory experience. Through immersive installations, I create spaces that can be entered rather than simply viewed, spaces that reflect the tension, overload, beauty and unease of contemporary life.

Across both practices, I am concerned with perception: how we look, how we feel, and how we are altered by the environments we move through. Whether through a photograph or an installation, I want to create work that is visually resonant, emotionally aware and grounded in equality, kindness, fairness and respect.
