Ewa-Monica Fabian is an audiovisual artist, musician, producer, songwriter and researcher. As Garbage Queen, Ewa performed around the UK and Europe. Her music was played on various radio stations, she exhibited at 44AD in Bath, and she worked with various artists as a session musician, director and creative producer. Ewa is currently module leader for Bath Spa University’s Immersive Media and Critical Studies: Photography degree course.

In her PhD, Ewa investigates an immersive type of music video she calls ‘AVP’ – Audiovisual Piece. AVP is a specific type of video in which song persona, music, video, performance, lyrics, audio and video production are merged to create a more engaging experience. AVP Production offers clients two approaches: guidance and support in the writing sessions, and embracing the artist’s concept or providing the artists with a fully realised piece.

Ewa believes that AVP has the potential to engage the audience on a deeper level and build a stronger relationship with the fanbase. Furthermore, with the growing popularity of immersive technologies, her approach allows for an easier incorporation of VR/AR. AVP Production has received funding from Santander and Bath Spa University’s Research Centre.
